Trapped In The Margins

30 looms around the corner but I’m not afraid of it anymore.

There’s something about society telling us to be young forever

..that seems like a scam.

Youth wasn’t all it was set up to be.

The life I was supposed to led was dictated by reality tv.

That wasn’t the life meant for me.

Now my quest for eternal youth is over.

I look forward to old age.
