Trapped In The Margins

Today is my one year anniversary of starting this new wordpress blog. I deleted my previous account because there were people following it that I wanted to avoid. I didn’t really dedicate myself to this account until February when I wrote my first post titled “Welcome to Adulthood.”

I want to welcome all of my new followers to this blog. It’s called “Trapped in the Margins” for two reasons. I have felt trapped in the margins or on the outskirts of American society for several reasons which I will delve into at a later time. I have also felt trapped in notebook margins. I have spent my life writing things down in notebooks or on random sheets of paper. This blog was meant to be used as a way of bringing all of my random thoughts together in a coherent manner.

I cannot make any promises about the future of this blog. I cannot promise a particular type of content. I am not a writer or a poet. I can say that I will continue to publish work that is to my high standards and some work that should never see the light of day. I am just a woman shouting into the void who is hoping for a response.
